Terms of Use
The knotbook.app website is operated by Spyxpo Technologies Private Limited (CIN U62011BR2025PTC079225), registered office C/O Krishna Murari Kumar, Begusarai, Bihar 851101, India ("Spyxpo", "we"). Knotbook is a product of Spyxpo. Effective 2026-09-25.
1. Scope
These terms govern your use of the website at knotbook.app and its pages, downloads, account area, template gallery and extension listings (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. How this fits with our other terms
- The Knotbook application and Knotbook Pro are covered by the Terms and Conditions.
- How we handle personal data, cookies and similar storage is covered by the Privacy Policy.
- Spyxpo's group-wide policies are at spyxpo.com/policies.
If these terms conflict with the Terms and Conditions on anything about the application or a purchase, the Terms and Conditions apply.
3. Who may use the Site
You may use the Site if you can form a binding contract under the law that applies to you. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
4. Accounts
An account is needed only to buy Pro, manage licences, or upload templates. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@spyxpo.com if you think it has been misused.
5. Permitted use
You may browse the Site, download Knotbook, and download templates and extensions for your own use under the licence each one carries.
6. Prohibited use
You must not:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, through the Site;
- upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful, as a template, extension or anything else;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its accounts, or its systems, or test their security without our written permission;
- interfere with the Site's operation, including by overloading it;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent a connection with Spyxpo or Knotbook.
7. Automated access
Search engines and AI crawlers that respect robots.txt are welcome on public
pages. Scraping private areas, bypassing rate limits, or creating accounts
automatically is not allowed.
8. Your content
Templates and other material you upload stay yours. You give Spyxpo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute them on the Site for as long as they are published there. You confirm you have the right to share them.
9. Moderation
We may hide or remove uploaded content, and suspend accounts, that break these terms or the law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
10. Our content and trade marks
The Site's text, design, screenshots and software, and the Knotbook and Spyxpo names and logos, belong to Spyxpo or its licensors. These terms give you no right to use them beyond ordinary browsing and the downloads described above.
11. Downloads and third-party services
Installers are provided under the Terms and Conditions. Payments are processed by Razorpay and sign-in by Google Firebase; their terms apply to those services. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.
12. Purchases
Prices are shown in Indian rupees at checkout. All purchases are final and not refundable, as set out in the Terms and Conditions, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Privacy and cookies
Strictly necessary storage keeps the Site working. Analytics runs only after you allow it, and you can change that at any time under Privacy choices. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
14. Availability and changes
The Site is provided on a best-efforts basis. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it without notice. The Knotbook application keeps working offline whether or not the Site is available.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Nothing here excludes rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Spyxpo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the Site, and its total liability for any claim about the Site is limited to ₹1,000 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is higher.
17. Indemnity
You agree to compensate Spyxpo for losses caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Site, to the extent the law allows.
18. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to the Site if you break these terms. You may stop using the Site and ask us to delete your account at any time.
19. Complaints and grievance redressal
Report content or complaints to our Grievance Officer, as required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021:

20. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do. Continuing to use the Site after that means accepting the revision. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Begusarai, Bihar, India have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have to bring proceedings where you live.
